How I think about product

I build platforms that handle complexity at scale — the kind where technical architecture, business model, and customer behavior all have to be solved together. My work spans commerce and checkout, marketplace onboarding, AI-powered sales enablement, and lead-to-cash systems.

My approach starts with the customer problem and works backward. At Amazon it meant reordering an onboarding flow based on a single behavioral insight about psychological commitment. At MGM it meant building an ML abandonment model before investing in recovery campaigns. At Intuit it meant mapping how SMB buyers make purchase decisions before designing the sales platform around them.

I care about the craft of product leadership: how you structure a team, how you run a roadmap process, how you make the hard tradeoff calls when resources are finite and stakeholders disagree.

Platform Thinking
Build once, scale everywhere. Modular architecture that supports multiple markets, business lines, and teams without re-platforming.
AI That Creates Lift
ML and AI deployed where they produce measurable outcomes: lead scoring, next-best-action, abandonment recovery, conversion personalization.
Experimentation as Infrastructure
Funnel instrumentation, cohort analysis, and A/B frameworks that generate real signal, not theater. Built the org-wide standard at Amazon.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Product strategy only works if Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and GTM are rowing in the same direction. I spend a lot of time on that alignment.
Operator Mentality
Roadmaps, QBRs, hiring, team development. Product leadership is a craft with repeatable operating mechanisms, not just creative strategy.

Where I've worked

Three companies, three distinct platform challenges. Each one added a new dimension to how I think about building at scale.

Intuit

Group Product Manager, SalesTech

Nov 2022 — Jul 2025

The challenge

Modernize the Lead-to-Cash platform for a $1.6B enterprise business with 3,000+ direct sellers. The existing system was fragmented across Excel spreadsheets, multiple CRMs, and manual processes. The ask was to build an AI-native sales platform that made sellers more effective and gave leadership real-time visibility into pipeline.

90% CRM adoption Days-to-hours contract time 30% YoY partner revenue 8-person PM org $1.6B business

MGM Resorts

Director, Product Management

Jun 2020 — Nov 2022

The challenge

Own the full digital commerce platform across 20+ MGM properties and 7.5M+ monthly visitors. Drive direct revenue growth through conversion optimization, experimentation, and AI-powered growth programs. Simultaneously own payments infrastructure, checkout platform rebuild, and multi-LOB product strategy across Hospitality, Entertainment, and Dining.

$500M to $1.2B revenue 4% to 7% conversion $40M incremental 500K+ stored payments 20+ properties

Amazon

Senior Product Manager

Jun 2015 — May 2020

The challenge

Build seller-facing marketplace products for new Amazon sellers from the ground up, scaling from zero through global expansion. Own onboarding, activation, ML-powered seller guidance, and the experimentation infrastructure that measured it all. The customer base: SMBs trying to start or grow a business on Amazon for the first time.

Case studies

Four problems, four different platform domains. Each one shows a different dimension of how I approach building.

AI Platform Strategy

Autonomous Sales Platform

Intuit — FY25/26

The sales org was running on fragmented tools: three separate CRMs, Excel-based CPQ, no shared data model, and sellers spending hours on manual prep per customer. The mandate was to architect a 3-year AI-native platform strategy that would consolidate, automate, and ultimately give sellers an intelligent assistant that handled repetitive tasks autonomously. I led the vision, the PRFAQ, and the phased roadmap from consolidation through AI agent deployment.

90% Sellers operating in unified CRM after platform migration
Days→Hrs Contract cycle time after workflow automation
3→1 Partner relationship management systems consolidated
Commerce Platform

Digital Commerce Conversion Engine

MGM Resorts — 2020–2022

MGM's digital revenue was growing but conversion was stuck at roughly 4% across 20+ properties. The checkout experience was inconsistent, pricing accuracy was a problem, and there was no systematic approach to identifying and recovering abandoning sessions. I owned the full rebuild: checkout platform, experimentation program, ML-powered abandonment model trained on 42M records, and persistent cart. The goal was to make the platform generate compounding lift, not just one-off wins.

4%→7% Conversion rate through funnel redesign and experimentation
$40M Incremental revenue from product-led growth initiatives
~$4M Margin contribution from persistent cart implementation
Marketplace Onboarding

SMB Seller Onboarding Platform

Amazon — 2015–2020

New Amazon sellers were dropping off during onboarding at high rates. The registration, identity verification, and activation flow was sequential and front-loaded with admin tasks before sellers could list a product. I led the redesign: reordered the flow so sellers could list first (driving psychological commitment), built a hybrid PLG/human-assist escalation path for sellers who stalled, and developed the ML-powered next-best-action guidance system. Then built the experimentation infrastructure to measure all of it at scale.

$100M GMS scaled from zero across NA, EU, and AU
28% Reduction in time-to-first-sale
Org-wide Experimentation framework adopted as the standard
Payments Infrastructure

Payments Platform Rebuild

MGM Resorts — 2020–2022

MGM's payments infrastructure was fragmented across properties with inconsistent approval rates, no shared payment method storage, and limited visibility into authorization performance. I owned the rebuild: consolidated stored payment methods into a shared service, integrated PSP and gateway partners, implemented pre-authorization and penny-auth flows, and built the ML model to predict and prevent authorization failures. The stored payments platform became the foundation for personalization and one-click checkout across all 20+ properties.

500K+ Stored payment instruments on the shared platform
~98% Authorization approval rate
$20M Revenue recovery potential per 1% approval rate lift
